“I Love Rock N Roll” is a classic rock song that was originally recorded by the Arrows in 1975, but it was Joan Jett and the Blackhearts’ cover version that became a hit in 1982. The song was written by Alan Merrill and Jake Hooker.
Joan Jett’s version of “I Love Rock N Roll” features her signature hard-driving guitar sound and powerful vocals. The song’s catchy chorus and memorable riff helped it become a massive hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and staying there for seven weeks. The song also earned Joan Jett a place in rock history as one of the most iconic female rockers of all time.
“I Love Rock N Roll” has since become a rock classic and is still a staple on rock radio stations and in karaoke bars. The song’s popularity has also been cemented by its use in various movies, TV shows, and commercials over the years.
